FUSION: A FEAST FOR THE SENSES 2007 Throughout time, music and art have been inextricably linked. So, in celebration of this fusion of art forms, The Shepherd Society will host a very special new event at the Shepherd School called FUSION. With the help of Shepherd School composers and musicians, together with Houston restaurants and art galleries, the foyer of Alice Pratt Brown Hall will be transformed into a feast for the senses. This event will appeal to art collectors, music enthusiasts and foodies, alike! Guests will have the opportunity to sample appetizers and desserts from some of Houston’s finest fusion cuisine restaurants, marvel at displays of modern art from local galleries, and hear performances of contemporary music by some of the Shepherd School’s most visionary composers and musicians. Shepherd Society members and their guests will receive complimentary admission, and the general public will be admitted for only $10 per person.
