Online Preliminary Sumission by December 1, 2017

Submission should be a video of a memorized performance of the following repertoire: A major work by J.S. Bach and two additional contrasting works.

The green icon labeled "Preliminary Dropbox" at the bottom of this page will lead you to the Rice University portal for Acceptd, an online repository for preliminary audition materials. There is a $24 fee to use this service.

Live audition requirements approximately 45-60 minutes in duration

Candidates are required to perform a memorized program for the committee, including a major work by J.S. Bach. Additional selections should demonstrate contrasting styles as well as both lyric and virtuoso playing.

DMA audition dates are January 22 and 23 or February 12 and 13, 2018*

* A practice session on the organ and your diagnostic tests will be scheduled on the first day and your audition will be scheduled on the second day. You are welcome to attend classes and recitals while you are here.
