| SUMMER VOCAL CAMP 2008 - JUNE 8-15, 2008 This program is designed for students of high school age. Come join us for a week of learning and fun! We will give you lots of personal attention with private lessons and coachings. We will teach you how to ttake care of your body and voice as a singing instrument and will help you integrate a healthy singing technique with new ability to express yourself through music in a most compelling way. We have acting lessons and a yoga class taught by a teacher that is also a musician. After a week of intensive study, our final concert always brings down the house. Some comments from former summer vocal camp students: "The most important thing I learned was to engage my brain before I sing. I am thankful for all of the marvelous words of wisdom I received here." Miriam, age 16 "I learned about vocal technique. I really hadn't realized how badly I was swallowing words. John, age 17 ADMISSIONS Send a tape or CD (video tape is preferred) with two selections, classical music or classical music theatre of your choice. No belt songs please.
