Transfer Applicant Instructions for Fall 2016

This is the most important page for successful completion of your application to The Shepherd School of Music. For this reason, we ask that you bookmark this page for your records to be sure you have completed every step!

The Shepherd School of Music strongly encourages applicants to submit their application by December 1 to allow for timely collection and review of applicant materials. Transfer applicants will be notified of their admission decision by the Rice University Admission Office on or before May 15.

Checklist

1. The Common Application and Rice Writing Supplement or the Universal College Application and the Rice Supplement

Students must choose one of these application methods and submit all required materials through that method.

• Submit 2015 Tax Returns and W-2s to IDOC.
