Online Submission of your portfolio is due December 1
1. Composers must submit a minimum of three compositions that are representative of their work. Please also submit an audio recording of each work if available to the graduate application.
2. To establish the applicant's musical ability and background, applicants must also demonstrate proficiency on a musical instrument by submitting an audio recording with a performance by the applicant of two contrasting works from the standard repertoire. It is not required that instrumental competence be at the level of a major in performance.
Preliminary decisions on your portfolio will be released mid-January. A visit to the campus should be scheduled during the month of February.
Any questions regarding your application may be directed to Phyllis Smith.
