Audition Requirements
Online Prescreening Submission due December 1, 2023 by 11:59 PM (EST)
Submission should be a video of a memorized program at least 30 minutes in duration made within one year of the application deadline. Multiple uploaded files of your prescreening requirements are acceptable. If you have not heard from us by January 4, 2024, please email us.
Graduate live audition requirements**
- Candidates are required to perform a memorized program for the committee, including a major work by J.S. Bach. Additional selections should demonstrate contrasting styles as well as both lyric and virtuoso playing.
- Sight reading, harmonization skills, general knowledge of the organ and organ literature will be evaluated.
**Approximately 30-45 minutes in duration
Graduate audition dates are January 22 and 23 or February 12 and 13, 2024*
*Please plan on spending 2 days with us. A practice session on the organ will be scheduled on the first day, and your audition and interview will be scheduled on the second day.
