Senior Airman Carter Loud, a native of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, is a tuba player with the United States Air Force Band of the West. Senior Airman Loud currently performs with the Brass Quintet, Concert Band, and Ceremonial Marching Band.
Carter earned a Bachelor of Music Performance from Cleveland Institute of Music in 2019. He began Postgraduate studies at Rice University’s Shepherd School in 2019 and was selected for the Air Force in 2021. Airman Loud’s primary teachers include Yasuhito Sugiyama and David Kirk.
