"Accessible Sounds" is an interactive installation and performance piece which takes the audience on a journey of different topics. These topics include the formation of a musical canon, the underrepresentation of people from marginalized backgrounds in music composition and performance, elements of music and music theory in different cultures, and structural barriers to accessibility in music. The performances will be diverse in the representation of both musicians and the composers being played, and will occur periodically throughout the event.
