“A symphony must be like the world. It must embrace everything.” Honoring Mahler’s vision, Shepherd Orchestras embark on a journey through his symphonic output with the monumental “Titan,” depicting nature’s sounds as a profound narrative of life. The program also includes excerpts from two pioneering voices: a lyrical movement from Amy Beach’s historic “Gaelic” Symphony and a dramatic prelude from Dame Ethel Smyth’s opera, The Wreckers.

Tickets required – STANDBY ONLY

  • At this time, we are no longer taking reservations for reserved seating tickets. Instead, we are offering standby tickets to the concert for just $5.
  • Reserving standby tickets gives you the opportunity to attend this concert by occupying seats that become available the night of the performance (this includes all levels of seats!).
  • We cannot guarantee that all members of your party will be seated together.

Beach: Alla siciliana — Allegro vivace, from Symphony in E Minor, Op. 32 “Gaelic”
