Join us for a conversation with Music Director Designate of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Jonathon Heyward and Shepherd alum and Vice President for Inclusion and Learning with the League of American Orchestras Caen Thomason-Redus. Additional members include Shepherd School students Daniel Cho, Christian Harvey and Alisha Zamore.
Rice University's Center for Engaged Research and Collaborative Learning's (CERCL) Fund for Racial Justice Teaching and Programming is a co-sponsor of this event.
About the Students
Daniel Cho is currently a graduating senior majoring in violin and composition. He will also complete a Minor in Business from Rice University this spring.
Christian Harvey is a graduate student majoring in double bass. He also serves as a 2022-2023 Shepherd School-Houston Symphony Brown Foundation Community Embedded Fellow.
Alisha Zamore is a graduate student majoring in clarinet. She received her BM from the Shepherd School and has served on the MUSE committee for two years.
