Biography
Senior Department Administrator Allison Kellogg serves as the financial and HR manager for the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, overseeing financial strategy and planning to ensure continued service excellence.
Before joining the Shepherd School in the summer of 2026, Allison worked at the Houston Museum of Natural Science as Manager of Business Development and Budget, overseeing financial operations and administrative logistics. Prior to this move to Administration in 2013, Allison spent 10 years in the Education department working with youth and educator programming including summer camp and overnight experiences.
Outside of her professional life, Allison is an avid gardener and volunteer who enjoys various craft pursuits and spending time with her husband, Clark, and their son, William.
