June and July
Fall registration invitations sent to returning students end of July/early August. Returning students must register by August 14th to secure a place. Prep office closed the month of July.
AUGUST
Aug. 14 – Fall registration deadline. Late fee charged after Aug. 14th postmark.
Aug. 14 – Deadline for financial aid applications.
Aug. 21 –Rice University first day of classes; students return.
Preparatory fall semester may begin for private lesson students.
SEPTEMBER
Sept. 2- Theory classes begin.
Sept. 4- Labor Day Holiday. Prep office closed.
Sept. 23 (Sat) - Prep Recital, 1:00pm. Duncan Recital Hall.
OCTOBER
Oct. 9 – Rice Midterm Recess. Office & building open.
Oct. 21 (Sat) – Prep Recital – 1:00pm. Duncan Recital Hall.
NOVEMBER
Early Nov. - Spring registration invitations sent to returning students. Returning students must register by Dec. 4th.
Nov. 9 (Thurs.) - Piano Masterclass 7- 9pm. Stude, Artist – Dr. Jon Kimura Parker.
Nov. 18 (Sat) - Prep Recital -1:00pm, Duncan Recital Hall.

DECEMBER
Dec. 1 – Rice University students last day of classes.
