Marianne Gedigian joined the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University as professor of flute in fall 2023. She previously held the Butler Endowed Professorship in Flute and was a University Distinguished Teaching Professor at The University of Texas at Austin Butler School of Music.

Richie is one of the most celebrated clarinetists of his generation, a sought-after recitalist and chamber musician who regularly appears on stages around the world.
Since entering the world of professional music in 1972, Benjamin Kamins has enjoyed a wide-ranging career as an orchestral musician, chamber player, solo performer, and educator.
