Dean's Rehearsal Hall

The Dean’s Rehearsal Room is the largest rehearsal space in Brockman Hall for Opera. It is the same size as the stage’s playing area, and like the stage, it has a Masonite floor.  Large doors on the backstage side of the room make it possible to bring in set pieces from the stage for opera rehearsals. Sophisticated patterns of wall and ceiling panels provide a reverberative but well controlled acoustical environment which can be adjusted by several motorized absorptive fabric draperies.
