Brockman Music and Performing Arts Center is comprised of 55 studios. All faculty studios in Brockman Hall have wood flooring for maximum acoustic reflection. The air handling/ventilation system in the ceiling is extremely quiet to minimize background noise and maximize the acoustic response in the room. The lighting reflects up onto the ceiling rather than down on the heads of those in the room or into their eyes; this is much more appropriate for the kind of work that will be done in the faculty studios.
