Mozart Clarinet Concerto, First movement, Exposition only (beginning of solo until bar 133) (with piano accompaniment)
Etudes
Choose one of the following caprices:

Orchestral Excerpts
Pick 2 from composers from the list below :
Mendelssohn Scherzo from A Midsummer Night's Dream, measures 1 - 48

Rimsky-Korsakov Capriccio Espagnol, Movement 1 (letter A - B, letter C for 21 bars)

Scales
All major and minor scales, both slurred and articulated, in three octaves. (Scales in C#, D, and Eb should be prepared in two octaves.)
Applicants will also be expected to demonstrate sight-reading ability with material chosen by the instructor.
No accompanist is needed or desired for the audition.
Auditions will be held on January 16, 2027.
