Transfer Requirements for Fall 2024
This is the most important page for the successful completion of your application to the Shepherd School of Music. Students are considered transfer applicants if they have completed a high school diploma or the equivalent and earned at least 12 semester hours of college credit after graduating from high school. Final admissions decisions will be released to transfer applicants by the Rice University Admissions Office (not the Shepherd School of Music) by the end of May.
